Our speaker is Carolyn Mark, the President of RI – NOW, which stands for Rhode Island – National Organization for Women. RI NOW works to bring more women into public service and monitors the state government to lobby gender-specific issues.
Carolyn will be teaching us about local and state politics, providing us with knowledge and tools to be more aware of key issues, and inspiring some of us to run in an election! Whether you are Republican, Democrat, Independent, or Tea Party Member, this important lecture will deliver the information you need to be a more powerful citizen.
