The SouthCoast Young Professionals Network will host their next installment of the CEO Unplugged series on March 26, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The event will take place at Slocum Design Studio, located on 1167 Russells Mills Road, Suite 32 & 33, in South Dartmouth.
The SCYPN’s CEO Unplugged series is a quarterly event, which provides young professionals with an opportunity to connect with and learn from successful local CEOs. Aimed to be a source of inspiration and a wealth of knowledge, the CEOs share their personal experiences and journey to success with the participants in an informal, small group setting. Past CEOs that have participated include Anthony Sapienza, CEO of Joseph Abboud Manufacturing Corp. , David Slutz, CEO of Precix, Inc, and Scott Martin, CEO of Brahmin Leather Works.
Mark Medeiros, Owner of Slocum Design Studio, is the featured CEO for the March 2014 edition. His primary focus is to help entrepreneurs and business owners utilize Internet Marketing, including using web content management systems, such as WordPress, to create websites. After a 30 year career in the automobile business, in which he purchased, sold and operated several automobile franchises, he has changed his focus to become principal of Slocum Design Studio. Mark has helped hundreds of businesses become successful with online marketing.
Mr. Medeiros is also very active in the art community. He is a board member at the New Bedford Art Museum/Artworks. He is also very active in the local Rotary Club, in addition to being a part of many other small organizations and community based initiatives.
Seats are limited to 20-25 members of the SCYPN.
