Have you heard the term “Content Marketing”? A savvy article from Inc. magazine highlights that, “Creating great content and then disseminating it online is a fantastic way for businesses to brand themselves, advertise goods and services, establish expertise/thought leadership, and aid search engine optimization through link-building.”
Part of this Linkedin Lab 2 session will involve how you can become active, and engage others on Linkedin through posting your own work (via a blog), sharing other people’s articles via updates, posting/answering questions in groups, adding comments, and creating polls, just to name a few.
During this workshop, you will have a fellow entrepreneur critique your profile and summary. Please bring a hardcopy of your profile with you to make this critique easier.
We will also discuss some of the advance search functions, how to search an individual’s connections, following companies, as well as introduce you to building a Linkedin company page.
This session is for advanced Linkedin users, or those who have already attended the first “Linkedin Lab for Entrepreneurs.” It will be assumed that you already have: a well developed profile, a savvy summary, and a strong understanding of Linkedin’s core features and navigation.
This session is designed to go deeper into how to use the tool to develop a stronger presence and build your reputation as an expert in your area of expertise.
Please bring a laptop or tablet to this session (a laptop is preferred, as some functionality in edit mode is different on a tablet).
