From idea-to-product: Getting the help you need on your terms

Date(s) - 09/24/2014
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

If you’re a creative individual with a product idea you want to commercialize, this class is for you. The fact is that transforming ideas into real products takes both time and money regardless of how you intend to launch it into the marketplace. Since few of us can go it alone, we need help… but at what cost. Where do you go and who can you trust with your hard earned dollars? This is all about investing your resources wisely so that you get the results needed to achieve your goals.

During this session, we will address the early stages of the development process and the categories of professional help that are typically needed during this time.

In this class you will learn how to:
• Determine what services you may need and in what order.
• Ask the right questions when interviewing prospective service providers.
• Choose service providers who will deliver the help you need within your budget.
• Insure that timetables for performance and deliverables are established.

There will be tips, techniques, case studies, and time for open discussion about your specific challenges.

This class is open only to those who are actively working on or beginning a creative project. At the end of this session, and for those who want to meet on a more regular basis, we will establish a group for the purpose of problem solving and exploring creative opportunities to advance projects.
