As the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) continues its transition to align with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), many in the community have unanswered questions. Deborah A. Gist, Rhode Island’s Commissioner of Education, and Mary Ann Snider, Chief of Educator Excellence and Instructional Effectiveness, will address those concerns and provide an overview/update on the CCSS transition as our guest speakers at our Coffee & Commerce networking breakfast on Friday, June 27, from 7:30 – 9 a.m. at the Wharf Tavern in Warren. Cost is $10 for members/$15 for non-members.
This event is sponsored by Wharf Tavern.
