Envision Technology Advisors Announces Launch of Cloud Aggregation Center

Pawtucket, RI March 28^th, 2013 – Pawtucket, Rhode Island based Envision Technology Advisors has just launched their new “Cloud Aggregation Center” portal, part of the company’s Ground Control suite of Proactive Cloud Solutions.

“With so many business services moving to the cloud, there is a real need for a solution that helps manage those services – many of which are being provided by different vendors,” explains Envision’s CEO and founder, Todd Knapp. “When we developed Ground Control, it was in response to our clients’ requests to help them more effectively manage the many different cloud solutions and providers that had become a part of their business. It was also a way to put the human element back into IT. As more of our business functions move to the cloud, we’ve become abstracted from actual humans that can help answer questions or solve problems. Ground Control puts that human touch back into the mix.”

Designed to support the wide array of cloud services available today, Ground Control includes integration solutions for cloud backups, mobile device management, managed border security and PCI compliance scanning, cloud servers, hosted mail and apps, and more. All services are offered on an individual basis, allowing Ground Control subscribers to pay only for the services they need.

The Cloud Aggregation Center, located at www.groundcontrolled.com, is being rolled out for all new and existing Ground Control subscribers as a standard part of the service. This online portal will serve as a hub for all Ground Control information and activity, giving subscribers a central location to access reports on their assorted cloud services, initiate support tickets or review tickets histories, and even manage their subscription options and add new cloud solutions to their Ground Control account.

“The portal is not a replacement for the direct interaction we have with Ground Control subscribers,” emphasized Josh DeFreitas, Manager of Ground Control Operations. “We want to give our clients more insight into the services they are subscribed to and the ability to get reports and information on demand, but this is in addition to the support and attention they get from Ground Control representatives.
