Eat Drink RI Festival presents “The Grand Brunch” at Gracie’s

Providence, RI – Rhode Island’s best chefs, bartenders and pastry chefs will prepare brunch at Gracie’s with a portion of the proceeds going to the Rhode Island Philharmonic Foundations in Learning Exploration.  The event, aptly called “The Grand Brunch” will serve as the official closing ceremony of the Eat Drink RI Festival.

Hosted at Gracie’s, Providence’s only AAA Four-Diamond Award Restaurant, ten of the state’s top chefs will create brunch offerings representative of their own unique locations.  The Grand Brunch will be held on Sunday, April 21 from 11am to 2pm.

Gracie’s sister location, Ellie’s Bakery Pastry Chef Melissa Denmark and Lead Baker Danielle Lowe will design an array of treats from the Parisian-style boulangerie on Washington Street.

Additional participating chefs and restaurants include:

Members of The United States Bartenders Guild’s Rhode Island Chapter will mix signature cocktails sponsored in part by Sons of Liberty Distillery

Participating bartenders include:

  • Keith Corbett of Gracie’s
  • Jay Carr from The Eddy
  • Kevin O’Connor from Persimmon
  • Gillian White from Cook & Brown Public House
  • Liz Sawtelle from Nick’s on Broadway

A portion of the proceeds from the Grand Brunch will benefit music education for children in Rhode Island as part of The Rhode Island Philharmonic’s FLEX program.  Students and faculty members of the Philharmonic will perform throughout the brunch.

“It’s been very exciting to plan this exceptional festival event,” said Brendan Chipley Roane, Gracie’s Director of Marketing & Events and the Eat Drink RI Festival’s co-founder and producer alongside David Dadekian. “A gathering of talented chefs and bartenders from throughout the state and the chance to taste Rhode Island’s best – all amid the beautiful sounds of the Philharmonic is surely an event not to be missed.”

Cost per guest for The Grand Brunch is $65.00 inclusive of tastings from all participating restaurants and signature cocktails.  Complementary valet parking is available.

Tickets for The Grand Brunch and other Eat Drink RI Festival events can be purchased online at www.eatdrinkri.com/festival.
