Duffy & Sweeney Adds Three Attorneys

PROVIDENCE, RI – The law firm of Duffy & Sweeney has added three new attorneys: Megan M. St. Ledger, Christopher P. Matteodo, and Gregory W. McIntosh.

Megan M. St. Ledger is a graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (J.D 2007, magna cum laude) and Providence College (B.A. Political Science and English 2004, summa cum laude). Her practice and experience span a wide range of litigation, advisory, and regulatory matters, with a focus on commercial and intellectual property disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Megan was an associate for more than four years in the international law firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, located in New York City, and clerked for Judge James J. Brady of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. Admitted to practice in New York, she is resident of Rumford, Rhode Island.

Christopher P. Matteodo is a graduate of Boston College Law School (J.D. 2010, cum laude) and Trinity College (B.A. History 2007, Phi Beta Kappa). Prior to joining the firm, he worked for two years at a Massachusetts-based business law firm. Christopher has experience representing emerging public and private companies and mid-market companies in a range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities compliance. He has worked with clients in the fields of software and technology, life sciences, consumer goods, manufacturing, and finance. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association New Lawyers Committee. Admitted to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, he is a resident of Providence.

Gregory W. McIntosh is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston (J.D. and M.B.A, 2013, cum laude) and the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland (B.S. Political Science, 2004). He worked as an intern for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the United States Securities & Exchange Commission, and The Honorable James J. McGovern. Prior to attending law school, McIntosh served as a Surface Operations Officer at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL and an Auxiliaries Officer in the Engineering Department at USS Bunker Hill in San Diego, CA. McIntosh recently took the Rhode Island and Massachusetts bar exam. He is a resident of Weymouth, MA.
