DLT Hosted Two-Day Job Fair March 2-3 to Help Greencore USA, Inc., Hire Food Prep Workers at Quonset Business Park Location

PROVIDENCE, RI – The Business Workforce Center of the RI Department of Labor and Training (DLT) hosted a two-day recruitment at the Providence netWORKri Career Center at One Reservoir Avenue, Providence. Monday’s recruitment ran from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on March 2 and Tuesday’s recruitment ran from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on March 3.

Greencore was recruiting production line operatives, material handlers, and preparation operatives.

Greencore Group is a leading manufacturer of “food to go” packaged food options in the UK and the US. Its US subsidiary, Greencore USA, Inc., will open a brand-new production facility at Quonset Business Park in March.

When fully staffed, its RI location should have close to 400 employees, from entry-level production to highly-skilled technical positions. All positions are full-time and offer a full benefit package.
