Curt Schilling’s 38 Studios Goes to Auction

WARWICK, RI – (October 16, 2012) 38 Studios, LLC, f/k/a Big Huge Games, the entertainment and IP development company founded by Major League Baseball pitcher Curt Schilling and named for his jersey number, will have its assets sold by the Court-appointed Receiver, Richard J. Land, Esq., of Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, at two auctions on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Timonium, MD & on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in Providence, RI. The auctions will be held at the former locations of 38 Studios, 1954 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD & One Empire Street, Providence, RI. Sal Corio of SJ Corio Company in Warwick, RI will begin the live auction each day at 10:30 a.m. EST.

Thousands of items available will be auctioned, including over 500 high-end Dell workstations, over 850 24” & 20” monitors, as well as high-end servers, graphic design, animation & audio recording equipment, like new office workstations, chairs, conference tables and so much more.

Registration and inspection will begin at 9:00AM EST each morning of the auctions, with live auction bidding commencing at 10:30AM EST.
