Powered by Hanna Global Solutions (HGS), Benefits Passport serves large group employers (more than 50 employees). Through the exchange, employees can buy healthcare insurance from a choice of the state’s three largest carriers: UnitedHealthcare of New England, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island and Tufts Health Plan. Employees pay for the coverage through monthly premiums paid from pre-tax dollars and employers make defined contributions to pick up part of the tab.

In addition to medical insurance, ancillary benefits such as dental, vision, life, disability and critical illness are also available. Benefits Passport also offers employees a full range of support services, including 24/7 access and support through a U.S.-based advocacy center to make it easier for employees to shop, understand and choose their benefits package.
