Christine Cunneen Named Chair- Elect of National Association of Professional Background Screeners Board

JOHNSTON, R.I./POMPANO BEACH, FL – Christine M. Cunneen, chief executive officer of Hire Image LLC, a nationwide background screening and drug testing company with offices in Rhode Island and Florida, was named chair-elect of the board of directors of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS).

Ms. Cunneen was chosen to serve a one-year term as chair-elect during the annual NAPBS conference held recently in Phoenix, Ariz. She is responsible for performing the duties of the chairman of the board, when the chairman is not present or unable to do so. She will also lead the annual and mid-year conference planning for 2014.

Prior to being named chair-elect, Cunneen served as treasurer of NAPBS and led the strategic planning project as well as her fiduciary duties. She chaired the organization’s Immigration Committee and served as co-chair of the NAPBS Government Relations Committee. A member of the board since 2010, she remains involved in policy and political advocacy at both the federal and state government levels.

Cunneen is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), New England Human Resource Association (NEHRA), the Human Resource Management Association of Rhode Island (HRM-RI), and SHRM Rhode Island Human Resource Chapter (SRIHRC). She is also a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State. Hire Image LLC maintains membership in the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. She is a 2006 recipient of the Make Mine a Million Dollar Business award from Count Me In.
