Child & Family Presents A Morning Of Wellness

MIDDLETOWN, RI – The Child & Family Ophelia Program will present a Ophelia Session on Health & Wellness. Rhode Island Girls between the ages of 12-17 are invited to meet Lynn Goodwin, owner of Rooted in Radiant Health on Sunday, October 6th from 10-12:30. Girls will get the opportunity to learn about healthy eating habits and ways to incorporate healthy foods into their everyday life. They will learn a holistic approach to health and wellness and a fun, flexible, and rewarding way of eating. In addition to this they will participate in a yoga session to help them feel good about themselves inside and out. After the yoga session they will enjoy lunch and the opportunity to ask questions of Lynn around not only how to live a healthy lifestyle but also how she became a successfully business owner doing something that she loved.
Lynn Goodwin, founder of Rooted in Radiant Health, is a graduate of New York’s Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coach Training Program™, which teaches over one hundred dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and cutting-edge coaching methods. Health Coaches from Integrative Nutrition’s world-class training program learn from top experts in the field of health and wellness including Dr. Andrew Weil, Geneen Roth, Dr. David Katz, Dr. John Douillard, Dr. Mark Hyman, and David Wolfe among many others. She is also certified in the Transformation Coaching Method, a coaching philosophy rooted in the belief that we are resourceful and already have all the answers within us. This coaching method will enable you to access all of the answers for growth from within and thus open up a space for choice and freedom both in your food habits and lifestyle.
This event is free and open to girls and young women in Rhode Island, ages 12-17. Lunch will be provided to all guests.
