Child and Family Presents a Morning of Wellness with Lynn Goodwin

NEWPORT, RI – Child & Family’s Ophelia Program will host a Morning of Wellness with Lynn Goodwin on July 28th from 10:00-12:30PM. Girls and young women, ages 12-18, are encouraged to attend this free Ophelia session which will be held at Child & Family’s Community Center at 31 John Clarke Road, Middletown, RI.

Attendees will learn about healthy eating habits and ways to incorporate healthy foods into everyday life. Lynn Goodwin will discuss a holistic approach to wellness and introduce a fun, flexible, and rewarding way of eating. She will lead the group in a yoga class which will then be followed by lunch. Guests will have the opportunity to ask Lynn questions about living healthy lifestyles and about her career path as a successful business owner.

Lynn Goodwin, founder of Rooted in Radiant Health, is a graduate of New York’s Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coach Training Program™, which teaches over one hundred dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and cutting-edge coaching methods. Health Coaches from Integrative Nutrition’s world-class training program learn from top experts in the field of health and wellness including Dr. Andrew Weil, Geneen Roth, Dr. David Katz, Dr. John Douillard, Dr. Mark Hyman, and David Wolfe. Lynn is also certified in the Transformation Coaching Method; a coaching philosophy rooted in the belief that we are resourceful and already have all the answers within us thus opening up a space for choice and freedom in both food and lifestyle habits.


The Child & Family Ophelia Programs are an innovative and inspiring series of community forums for girls and young women. The program welcomes and engages girls and young women between the ages of 11and 18 from diverse backgrounds in a safe and inviting environment to explore the social, psychological and cultural issues which have a lifelong impact on their development.
