WICKFORD, RI – Representatives from Centreville Bank presented a check for $10,000 to the Wickford Art Association for the title sponsorship of the 53rd Annual Wickford Art Festival, to be held July 11 and July 12, 2015 in Wickford Village.

“We are thrilled to have Centreville Bank return as the title sponsor,” stated Festival Director Judy Salvadore. “Their generous support ensures that the Wickford Art Association’s Annual Scholarship Fund, as well as numerous art programs and community events, will continue to be available to the community.”

Centreville Bank President/CEO Tom Lamb was on hand for the check presentation. “It is an honor to be associated with such a beloved and prestigious event,” he noted.

The Wickford Art Festival is one of the longest running, outdoor, fine art festivals in New England, featuring over 200 fine art artists. Average annual attendance is approximately 50,000, making this one of the top 100 fine art events in the U.S.

Proceeds from the festival are used to help fund scholarships for Rhode Island high school graduates pursuing an art-related college degree.
