BRAND IT! A Marketing & Design Class For Bloggers And Entrepreneurs, Will Have Their Next Class On October 13

PROVIDENCE, RI – (October 3, 2012) Brand It! a marketing + design workshop for bloggers will hold their next class on Saturday, October 13 at Anchor, 43 Rice Street, Providence.

Brand It! is taught by Providence-based entrepreneurs Sierra Barter (Clementine Lime) and Erika Dillon (Foxtrot Press). Sierra and Erika are also both directors of the PVD Lady Project.

Brand It! aims to teach marketing, PR and branding 101 to bloggers and entrepreneurs. Students will also learn how to create a consistent and effective social media presence and how to measure it. Students will leave the class with a better understanding of their business’ mission statement, target demographic, branding objectives and which platforms are best to promote their business.

The first part of Brand It! will kick-off a branding strategy and help students develop and strategize their business’ mission statement, target demographic, media kit and determine which platforms are best to promote their business.

In the second portion of the class, Brand It! students will learn the basics of Abobe Photoshop and create their own logo, header, and social media icons to further promote the visual personality of their blog or business’ brand. Also, students will learn helpful Brand It! tips and tricks on how to make their brand shine and raise the bar – without breaking the bank!
