Author Andrea Perron Will Share Her Ghostly Story at New England Institute of Technology

EAST GREENWICH, RI – The New England Institute of Technology library will host an evening with author Andrea Perron whose true life story was the basis of the recent suspense film, “The Conjuring.”  This movie tells the tale of how world renowned paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, were contacted to assist the Person family terrorized by a dark presence in their secluded farmhouse in Harrisville, RI. James Wan, director of such movies as “Saw” and “Dead Silence”, brought the Perron family’s experience to the big screen.

The public is invited to meet Andrea Perron who will speak at New England Tech on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Presentation Theater at the college’s East Greenwich campus located at One New England Tech Blvd.   Perron will discuss her family’s experience living in the house for ten years during the 1970’s, as well as share the making of the film and movie clips.  There will be a question and answer period.

Perron has written two books on the haunting entitled, “House of Darkness House of Light” (Volume One and Two) with a third sequel scheduled for future publication.  A book signing will be held in the NEIT library after the presentation. The event is free of charge.
