Andrea Valentini Launches Flagship Opening Mayor Taveras, local merchants & shoppers join in celebration as part of 2nd annual SoMA “Autumn Fest”

Providence, RI – Designer Andrea Valentini hosted a store opening party at her first flagship location Saturday, during the South Main Street (SoMa) 2nd Annual Autumn Fest celebration. She was joined by dozens of area officials, local merchants and shoppers, for an official ribbon cutting, citation presentation by Mayor Angel Taveras and a brief reception. The new business is located on 357 South Main Street, Providence.
“I welcome Andrea Valentini to our busy South Main Street corridor and wish her great success at her first store location,” said Mayor Angel Taveras. “Andrea’s work highlights Providence’s talented arts and design community and shows how the creative sector supports our local economy.”
“I am especially pleased to announce the opening of my new concept flagship store in the east side of downtown Providence, as I believe it underlines my commitment to the city and becomes a significant example for the creative capital,” said Andrea Valentini. “I created a space that reflects my work as a designer and use materials within the space that connect back to the process I use to manufacture my products.”
