2012 Rhode Island Small Business Award Winners

The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced the names of the 2012 Rhode Island small business award winners.  The award winners will be honored during the annual Rhode Island Salute to Small Business Awards Luncheon on May 30th at the Alpine Country Club in Cranston.

The SBA awards are presented in 9 categories:

RHODE ISLAND SMALL BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR:

JEFFREY BUTLAND FAMILY-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR (NEW ENGLAND): 

Rob Armstrong, president, A.B. Munroe Dairy, East Providence

WOMEN IN BUSINESS CHAMPION OF THE YEAR (NEW ENGLAND):

Miriam A. Ross, Esq.,  Law Offices of Miriam A. Ross, Esq., Providence

RHODE ISLAND SBA DISTRICT DIRECTOR AWARD:

Nancy L. Langrall, policy director, Office of Senator Jack Reed, Providence

JOSEPH G.E. KNIGHT AWARD FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL EXCELLENCE
