Accepting the award were Al Daniels and Janis Pendergast, the seventh generation of the family to operate the business, along with Kristine Daniels, Marketing Director and Marcia Galvin, Human Resources Director and eighth generation family members.

“Thank you so much for recognizing Normandy Farms, “ said Kristine Daniels, Director of Marketing, “We are truly honored to be the first recipient of this award.”

Normandy Farms has been a luxury camping destination and a family tradition since 1971. The business is owned and operated by three generations of the Daniels Family. Offering a beautiful wooded retreat, the facility boasts many amenities and spacious accommodations. It has been recognized nationally for its extraordinary guest experiences and services.

Galvin added that the family reinvests in the campground each year, making innovative improvements in the accommodations for guests. For instance, Normandy Farms added new lodging options such as Safari Tents and a two-acre dog park, compete with agility features and special coops that allow owners to monitor their pets throughout the day.

“We want our guests to have reasons to return every season, not just to Normandy Farms but to the Foxborough area as well,” stated Galvin. “Our family is proud to receive this award and truly values our membership in the Tri-Town Chamber. The Chamber is a great resource in so many areas as we manage our day-to-day operations.”

“Normandy Farms was an obvious and our unanimous choice by the committee to receive the first award,” said Danielle Fish, Vice President of the Chamber’s Economic Development Committee that created this recognition for members. “The Daniels Family and their business have deep roots in the community and have demonstrated savvy business practices to keep their business growing.”

Chamber President Tim Kenneally echoed Fish’s comments. “Normandy Farms is a destination that draws people from across the country, spotlighting not just their campground but helping to introduce their visitors to all the other great businesses in our area. They generate jobs and positively contribute to our community. As a Chamber, that’s exactly what we want to encourage and support among our members.”

The Chamber ‘s Economic Development Committee will recognize other members and their businesses throughout the year.
