TIMES2 Inc. Welcomes New Assistant Director of Development

TIMES2 Incorporated is excited to announce and welcome Washawn Jones as its new Assistant Director of Development. She will be responsible for growing the organization’smajor giftsprogram including partnerships, donations and fundraising events. In addition, she will cultivate and maintain relationships with area business people and media outlets.

Mrs. Jones joins the TIMES2 Incorporatedteam based in Providence, Rhode Island. TIMES2Incorporated is comprised of TIMES2Academy, TIMES2Enrichment and TIMES2Institute. The development department works within TIMES2Institute. TIMES2Instituteimproves STEM education for all learners through a focus on instructional practice, innovative programming and intentional experiences that facilitate imagination and learning. In addition to STEM Talks RI  IDEAL(Increasing Diversity Education And Leadership)STEM Conference, and ExGen TIMES2 Institute hosts other workforce development programsthroughout the year.

Mrs. Jones brings 15 years of sales, fundraising, networking and event planning experience to her new role. Most recently, she worked at The Providence Journal. Mrs. Jones has also worked at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce and The Boston Globe. In addition to her work experience, she holds a Master of Science in Business Management degree from Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
