The Hive RI Named Pioneer by Southern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce

On March 5th, 2016 members of Southern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce met for their annual Chamber Choice awards ceremony and dinner at Aqua Blue in Narragansett, RI. Beginning at 6 pm, guests enjoyed a raffle, dinner, cocktails, swag bags, an award show, and even a red carpet.

One of the winners that evening was The Hive RI, located in North Kingstown, who received the Pioneer award. The Hive RI is a collaborative, community-based coworking facility and art gallery in Southern Rhode Island at the Lafayette Mill complex. The Pioneer award is granted to the business that employs new ideas instead of the traditional or expected.

“Peer awards are the best awards!” Said a thankful Tuni Schartner, director and co-founder of The Hive RI. “Thank you for being our peers, Rhode Island Business Community! And thank you so very much to The Hive RI coworkers for bringing their differentiators, unique value propositions, authenticity, and fun every day.”
