SBANE Presents “Our State Economy: A New Year & A New Governor”

WALTHAM, MA – The Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) is hosting their monthly Rhode Island Breakfast Series on Wednesday, January 7, 2014, entitled Our State Economy: A New Year & A New Governor, with Leonard Lardaro as the guest speaker. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Warwick, RI from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM.

Leonard Lardaro, Professor of Economics at the University of Rhode Island, is a well-established educational figure who created, and published, the Jobless Improvement Index, a formula to measure each state’s “year-over-year” unemployment rate “momentum.” With the newly elected Rhode Island Governor, Gina Raimondo, taking her seat in office in January 2015, Professor Lardaro will discuss the obstacles of the RI economy Governor Raimondo will be facing during her first term.
