WARWICK, RI – Representatives of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors presented a medical transport vehicle to the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County today at Camp Grosvenor in Saunderstown, R.I.  The vehicle will be used to transport ill and injured campers on the camp’s 95-acre site.

The Rhode Island Association of  Realtors joins Realtors nationwide in supporting local Boys & Girls Clubs. The National Association of Realtors has partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in an effort to ensure that America’s kids continue to have great futures.

“We are so grateful to The Rhode Island Association of Realtors for providing this medical cart to the Boys & Girls Club and for enhancing the safety of our youth at Camp Grosvenor, said Joe Pratt, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County. “It’s through partnerships like these that we ‘Shape Great Futures’.”

Camp Grosvenor, which caters to children between the ages of 5 and 14, offers miles of scenic nature trails, well-maintained athletic fields, rugged obstacle and ropes challenge courses and a picturesque waterfront to create the ideal setting for kids to be kids. The camp runs from June 27th through August 19th.

“It’s great to be able to answer a need of the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County and we look forward to continued opportunities to help other Boys & Girls Clubs in the future,” said Arthur Yatsko, President of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors.
