Partners Insurance Group, LLC helps sponsor Second Annual “Stronger Together” Social to benefit Gifts to Give; raised total of $31,000

SWANSEA, MA – Partners Insurance Group, LLC, one of the region’s leading independent insurance agencies, recently presented the non-profit Gifts to Give (http://giftstogive.org) with a check for $10,000, raised through their Second Annual “Stronger Together” social event.

In all, this brings the total that Partners Insurance Group, together with their business partners, vendors and the Arbella Foundation, has raised to $31,000 for Gifts to Give over a two-year period.

Gifts To Give (www.giftstogive.org) is a non-profit organization with an objective of tackling child poverty.  Partners Insurance Group employees hosted their fundraising gala event at McGovern’s on the Water in Fall River.

Gifts To Give operates from their “philanthropy factory,”  a former golf ball factory where thousands of volunteers process donated children’s gear which is recycled, re-purposed and gifted to local children in need. The organization’s mission is to give all SouthCoast young people an opportunity to practice Big Citizenship and Tangible Philanthropy through their gifts of time and treasure. CEO and founder Jim Stevens terms it a shared vision which connects a generation of young people to something bigger than themselves. Partners Insurance Group traces its involvement with Gifts to Give to March 2014. Initially organizing groups of employees to help out after work and on weekends soon turned into collecting supplies and funds regularly in addition to volunteering their time.
