Novatos Restaurant Looking for Worthy Cause for $10,000

NORFOLK, MA– Novatos Bar and Grill in Norfolk, MA is looking for a worthy deserving, and in need person, mission, or cause to donate $10,000.

After just one short but amazing year in business, the restaurant owners, Alex & Jennifer Lima, are looking to give back to the community, who welcomed them with open arms last February in 2014. The couple is looking forward to making 2015 a memorable year not only for themselves, but also for a very worthy person or cause.

“We don’t want Novatos to just be a place where people come to just eat and drink, but a facility that can actively help the community when in need. Local businesses build strong communities, and our goal will and always be to give back,” said Jennifer Lima.

One of Novatos biggest sellers is the signature and delicious Doughboy dessert. The owners have decided to give 100% of the proceeds over 2015 (up to $10,000) to a worthy individual or cause.

Novatos has been selling their doughboys for a cause for the past week, and have already sold over 300 doughboys for the cause, equivalent to $1,500, which is 15% of their goal in just one short week.

Once the restaurant hits $10,000 they will host a party where the check will be presented to the winner. The restaurant encourages other businesses to give back to the community as well.

The community close and afar is encouraged to submit a one-page summary of a deserving person/mission/program in need of help. Submissions can be sent to Novatos at lima@novatosgrill.com, on their Facebook page, facebook.com/novatosbarandgrill or by snail mail 218 Dedham St, Norfolk MA. Submissions are being accepted until Friday, January 30th, 2015.
