Newport County Chamber of Commerce to host Annual Golf Tournament on June 15th

Middletown, RI – The Newport County Chamber of Commerce, one of Rhode Island’s largest Chambers has partnered with Newport Propane to sponsor their annual Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held at Wanumetonomy Golf and Country Club located at 152 Browns Lane, Middletown and will kick off on Monday, June 15th with registration beginning at 11:45 a.m. and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.

During the tournament participants will have the opportunity to compete in putting, longest drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one contest. A light lunch sponsored by Cox Business will be served and a beverage cart sponsored by People’s Credit Union will travel the course to help competitors to beat the heat. Doctor Donovan and Gottfried from Aquidneck Chiropractic will conduct a short seminar on how to avoid golf injuries and improve playing techniques. After the tournament, players will enjoy a reception sponsored by Phil’s Propane and dinner sponsored by Health Service Administrators. The Chamber is expecting more than 100 participants including Chamber members, local business persons, and community leaders. Members not participating in the tournament are also invited to join us for dinner and in welcoming our new Executive Director Erin Donovan-Boyle. Space is limited.
