Mount Saint Charles Academy to Host High Schools Throughout the Northeast in Hockey Holiday Face-Off

WOONSOCKET, RI — On December 26th, 27th, and 28th, Mount Saint Charles Academy will host the 2014 Holiday Face-Off Hockey Tournament in Mount’s Adelard Arena at 800 Logee Street in Woonsocket, RI. High schools throughout the northeast are scheduled to compete: Bishop Guertin (NH); Bishop Hendricken (RI); Fairfield Prep (CT); Franklin HS (MA); LaSalle Academy (RI); LaSalle College HS (PA); Mount Saint Charles Academy (RI); and St. Joseph Collegiate Institute (NY).
Co-Directing the tournament are two current Mount dads who are also members of the Class of 1981, Larry O’Donnell and former NHL player, Paul Guay. “Mount Saint Charles is proud to host the 19th Annual Holiday Face-Off Tournament,” O’Donnell said. “With some of the best teams in the Northeast coming, it should be an exciting weekend of hockey.”
Game times for the tournament on December 26thand 27th are at 2pm; 4pm; 6pm; and 8pm. On December 28th, game times are at noon; 2pm; 4pm; and 6pm. Tickets for a 3-day pass are $20 for adults and $10 for children. Daily passes are $10 for adults and $5 for children. However, free admission will be given to children (accompanied by an adult) who bring a canned good for donation to the Rhode Island Food Bank.
