MAE Organization for the Homeless – A Night Out!

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI– MAE Organization for the homeless together with Festival Ballet Providence will be treating 20 mothers currently living at Amos House to an evening of ballet.

Founder of MAE, Martinha Javid couldn’t be happier about this upcoming special event. “It has been a long time dream of [hers]” and an event of its kind has never transpired before with our RI homeless population. Along with the evening of ballet, the women will have the opportunity for a beauty makeover and more!

Special thanks to the following Beauticians volunteering:

  • Kristen Starziano: MAE BOARD MEMBER, co-owner of A Salon Galleria and Spa, Current Ms. Tri-State RI
  • Jackie Suchite: Freelance cosmetologist
  • Jen Darezzo owner of Bellan Dame Salon, Cumberland, RI
  • Debra Muccino of Salon X in Cranston

Acknowledgement and Appreciation to Lisa Laillargeon of Fabulocity, Smithfield, RI who will provide assistance with wardrobe, MAE board members and the evening volunteer chaperones: Richard Larniere, Donnie Bennett, and Meri Kaufman and a final gratitude note to A Star Limousine, Inc for providing transportation to and from the ballet.

To help with this event, monetary donations are currently needed. Donations may be submitted via http://www.gofundme.com/homelessness
