Fourth Annual Lady Project Summit March 12, 2016 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium

PROVIDENCE, RI – Tickets are live for the Fourth Annual Lady Project Summit on Saturday, March 12 at The Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The Vets), 1 Avenue of the Arts in downtown Providence. This event is geared to inspire, connect and showcase amazing women, and the weekend includes:
  • Friday, March 11: Drinks and apps with Summit partners like Mailchimp, a special kick-off party at Madewell and more!
  • Saturday, March 12: The day-long conference on March 12 (8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.) includes inspiring keynote speakers  Ann Shoket (trailblazing media exec and former editor in chief of Seventeen), Ruma Bose (author and President of the Chobani Foundation) and Elaine Pouliot (former VP at IBM and image consultant), powerhouse panels, and networking opportunities.
  •  Attendees enjoy four rounds of nontraditional workshops, being led by the likes of Emilie Aries (BossedUp), Lisa Jakub (author and former actress), Caitlin Abber (Editor, Women’s Health), Taylor Trudon (MTV), Tanya Wright (author and actress, Orange is the New Black) and more.
  • Fun extras and activities between workshops include a Swipely charging station, mini make-overs and dry styles by Boston based BeautyLynk, fresh head shots at a special price at the Story & Gold headshot station, mini massages by Harmony on Hope. and more.
  • The After Party, styled by Champagne & Ink (6:15-8 p.m.) and hosted by RBC Wealth Management, will feature a photo booth, something to sip courtesy of Chloe Wine Collection and Narragansett Beer, appetizers by Easy Entertaining and special surprises.
  • Summit attendees also receive a tote bag packed with goodies from Lady Project sponsors, fans and friends.
  • Sunday, March 13: Attendees can have brunch with Summit partners The Providence Foundation, Year Up, a tour of downtown Providence led by the RI Historical Society, shopping and mimosas at Craftland, a cocktail making course at The Eddy & more.

Tickets may be purchased at ladyprojectsummit.com ($200 for members and $150 for nonmembers). 

Tickets are on sale until sold out. Amenity Aid asks attendees to bring unopened and unused toiletry or feminine care product donations to benefit Amos House.

The Lady Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that connects, inspires and showcases awesome women doing amazing things through membership, events and community engagement. Founded and headquartered in Rhode Island, The Lady Project was created by Sierra Barter and Julie Sygiel as an alternative to the “Old Boys’ Club”.

The Lady Project has expanded to ten chapters with over 1,200 members nationwide.
