The Rhode Island State Nurses Association (RISNA) is excited to honor four champions of nursing at its Legislative Awards Reception on May 7 at the Providence Marriott Downtown. Awardees will include Senator Christopher Scott Ottiano; Representative David Bennett; Jim Carney, President of the Rhode Island Academy of Physician Assistants; and Maureen Glynn, former Assistant Attorney General. Honorees will be recognized for their advocacy and support of legislation which has advanced the profession of nursing in Rhode Island.
