Regional businesses are invited to participate in a quarterly planning day set for Friday, March 27, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the offices of Lighthouse Strategic Partners, 9 Clayton Road, Middleborough, MA.  The day long, hands-on workshop will focus on eliminating waste from your business and developing Quarter 2 goals and strategies.

The session will be led by Lighthouse advisors include Kevin P. Glynn and wife, Valerie Glynn.  Lighthouse specializes in helping family and other mid-sized businesses with controlled growth and profitability.

Cost is $250.   Seating is limited. To reserve, please email or call Valerie Glynn at Valerie@LighthouseStrategicPartners.com, (508) 946-2655.

“Our plan is to help you develop a specific plan that is ambitious yet attainable and leads your company to greater profitability and better quality of life for employees and management,” noted Kevin P. Glynn.  “In particular, we see many small business waste money on overpricing from vendors, unnecessary time surfing the Internet and recreating the wheel day after day instead of establishing systems, protocols and procedures. We provide insight, experience and accountability to help businesses progress at a modest pace.”

LIGHTHOUSE STRATEGIC PARTNERS

Many family and mid-sized businesses reach a modest level of success and then plateau.  Leaders often either teeter on burn out or lack the skills to elevate the business to the next level. Lighthouse steps in to reenergize leadership and develop systems, strategies, and tactics that lift the business to greater profitability and engagement.

Success is a choice.  Once chosen, success is built upon proven methods and practices.  Lighthouse does not force cookie cutter mirages, but unique, customized programs that address the immediate and long- term challenges of growing businesses.

All workshop participants will receive a complimentary copy of “Learn to Fly”, a new guide book written by Kevin P. Glynn.  Published by Wow Books, the book outlines why the tribal knowledge base of the company, as well as the processes should be documented and implemented. Flying a plane, like running a business includes both skill, systems, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators.  Thus, the family business can soar into the open skies instead of crashing to earth.

Lighthouse is an approved partner of the Workforce Training Funds Program that significantly augments the training/coaching investment. The Workforce Training Fund is a state fund enacted into law in July 1998 and financed entirely by Massachusetts employers. The Express Program offers up to $30,000 for companies with l00 or less employees.  The General Program provides up to $250,000 in grant funding. Although applications are simple, Lighthouse assists with filling out the necessary forms to obtain approval.

Lighthouse advisors include Kevin P. Glynn and wife Valerie Glynn.  Kevin received a B.S. in Marketing from Babson College, an MBA from Northeastern University, and completed the 28th OPM Program at Harvard Business School. Valerie, who also serves as the President and CEO of the Cranberry Country Chamber of Commerce, earned a B.A. in Education and Languages from Baldwin-Wallace College and is a Certified Executive Coach.  Lighthouse maintains offices at 9 Clayton Road, Middleborough, MA.  For more information or to obtain a free book, please call (508) 946-2655, or email Info@LightHouseStrategicPartners.com.visit www.LightHouseStrategicPartners.com.
