The Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) is hosting their monthly Rhode Island Breakfast Series event on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, titled Healthier People, Healthier Economy, Healthier Rhode Island, with Elizabeth Roberts as the guest speaker. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Warwick, RI from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM.

SBANE welcomes back Elizabeth Roberts, Secretary of Health & Human Services, for an educational program to discuss reinventing Medicaid and how small businesses can access wider health coverage opportunities for their employees. Roberts has dedicated ten years of service to the Rhode Island Senate, which has led to two elected terms in the Lieutenant Governor’s office. Roberts’ efforts have established the Rhode Island Healthcare Reform Commission (www.healthcare.ri.gov), where she currently serves as the Executive Committee Chair.

To attend this event, register at www.sbane.org, under “Upcoming Events: Rhode Island Breakfast Series.” A breakfast buffet is included. Healthier People, Healthier Economy, Healthier Rhode Island is sponsored by Independence Bank (www.independence-bank.com).
