About Dennis Rebelo

Dennis Rebelo, President, University Business Consultants LLC & Ph.D. Program in Organizational Systems, Saybrook University

Dennis Rebelo is president of University Business Consultants LLC (www.universitypdc.com), a New England based business development consultancy firm with reach from San Francisco to Austin and Boston.

Dennis’ works mostly delivering the communication system he authored entitled “AS3™ “ or Approach Sensitive Systematic Selling (for presenters) and storying (for leaders). The system’s underpinnings rest firmly on humanistic values. Generative dialogue, self-identity, organizational culture and Jungian psychology coalesce throughout the class delivery, keynote presentations and ongoing field work. Dennis believes that by teaching storying from a system’s perspective human beings can become more invitational, accepting and collaborative bringing their “gifts” to the organizational dwelling place.

Dennis is currently working with Amedeo Giorgi, Ph.D. in his Ph.D. work at Saybrook University in Organizational Systems. His concentration is in the Phenomenology of Executive Storytelling. Story telling and its link to culture changes can be expressed neatly and influences organizational systems. It is this mutually influential relationship between story and organizational cultural systems that fascinates Dennis largely in part to it being an organizational tipping point; Organizations gain "steam" or fade fast influenced by the stories they harness, promote and invite. In Rhode Island, it is our time to create stories of positivity inviting the very change and business climate our State needs to be great and move beyond simply hoping and into doing.

Our “STORY” in the workplace
